A corporal and a private soldier have been directed to a hideout where there may be a member of Sadam Hussein's police force who is now on the run. Their orders have been to take him alive but the corporal argues that if they do "the law" might set him free. It is a play about the morality of decision making in the aftermath of a war. Produced in Cardiff in 2006 and in New York in the same year.

Play's opening:
THE SOUND OF A VEHICLE COMING TO A HALT, ENGINE STILL RUNNING. TOM CONWAY, A CORPORAL, APPEARS. HE SHOUTS TO SOMEONE.
TOM: This may be the place. Turn the engine off and come over.

JIM: This it Corporal?
TOM: Could be.
JIM IS ABOUT TO MOVE TO A WOODEN COVER.
TOM: No, not yet.

TOM: Just wondering. a) Is he down there? b) Should we let them know back at base?
